Encouraged by the success of previous conferences organized by the Croatian Society of Mechanics (CSM), it is my pleasure to invite you to the 7th International Conference of the Croatian Society of Mechanics (7ICCSM2012) to be held from May 22nd to 25th 2012 in Zadar, Croatia.

The conference would cover recent developments and applications in solid and structural mechanics, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer using numerical, analytical, and experimental methods.

The major objective of the conference is to provide a platform for researchers from all over the world to exchange expertise and ideas about future collaborations in a supportive and pleasant environment. Therefore, the conference is intended to create an opportunity for PhD students to gain knowledge from renowned keynote speakers, to present their current research and to interact with representatives of the international scientific community.

The conference venue is carefully selected to ensure pleasant stay and motivating working atmosphere. A rich social programme would provide a great opportunity for establishing new contacts, cooperation, and friendships.
